Taylor Root is seeking an experienced MLRO and Data Protection Officer for a Bristol-based hybrid role. You will own AML governance, data protection and broader compliance, with autonomy to shape the framework across the business.

Ideal candidates will have prior MLRO/senior compliance leadership in TCSP or corporate services, strong UK AML regulations knowledge, and experience managing regulatory engagements. This is a high‑impact, first-in-house role at a growing organisation.

Qualifications

• AML compliance experience within a TCSP or corporate services environment.
• Experience as MLRO, Deputy MLRO or Senior Compliance Manager.
• Strong knowledge of UK Money Laundering Regulations, SARs and sanctions.
• Experience with UK GDPR and data protection requirements.
• Ability to draft policies and present to senior stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Oversee AML governance, risk assessments, policies and procedures, and risk reporting.
• Lead data protection workstreams, DPIAs and data retention programmes.
• Manage regulatory engagement, audits and information requests.
• Maintain compliance risk registers and governance frameworks.
• Produce board-level reporting and drive continuous improvement in compliance.
