Job summary

Hudl is hiring a Senior MLOps Engineer for the Hardware Group in London/Barcelona with remote options in the UK and Spain. You will own edge deployment pipelines and the compilation platform for optimized inference engines on devices like Jetson Orin.

You will design scalable edge infrastructure, automate model testing on production devices, and mentor the team in Python tooling, IaC and CI/CD to drive robust, automated workflows.

Qualifications

• Production MLOps expertise with CI/CD, Docker and Linux
• Hands-on experience in compiling and optimising models for embedded hardware (TensorRT)
• Ability to collaborate with researchers and embedded engineers to translate constraints into solutions
• Ability to design architectures that handle failure and manage risk with canary releases

Responsibilities

• Build scalable edge infrastructure to deploy models to fleets of devices.
• Own the model compilation platform, producing hardware-specific inference engines with TensorRT and FP16/INT8.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Embedded Engineers, and Product Managers for seamless integration.
• Implement infrastructure to test candidate models on production devices and build telemetry for drift, latency and thermal effects.
• Design update mechanisms for low-bandwidth environments and ensure graceful recovery on device failures.
• Mentor the team on Python tooling, IaC and CI/CD to drive automation.
