Job summary

NearTech Search in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to build and maintain infrastructure powering AI and Computer Vision from R&D to production. You'll ensure models run reliably in cloud and on edge devices, including NVIDIA Jetson, with distributed training, model optimisation, containerisation, CI/CD and production monitoring.

You will collaborate with AI developers and software engineers to turn advanced research into robust, deployable products, shaping ML platform

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML or a related field is desirable; equivalent commercial experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain distributed ML training pipelines.
• Implement experiment tracking and model registries.
• Optimise models for inference using acceleration techniques (e.g., TensorRT, quantisation).
• Develop containerised deployments for cloud and edge platforms.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building and deployment.
• Implement production monitoring, metrics and alerting.
