Job summary

Client Server is seeking a PhD-educated Machine Learning Researcher to lead the scientific direction at Cirencester, Gloucestershire. The role focuses on applying ML to geospatial and remote sensing data with physics-informed modelling to create transparent, validated insights.

You will work with the Science Lead to deploy production-ready models, influence hiring, and drive research toward real-world environmental and defence applications.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent research experience in ML/physics-related field.
• Strong research background at intersection of ML and physical modelling.
• Experience developing ML models for remote sensing or geospatial data.
• Strong Python software engineering skills for reproducible research.

Responsibilities

• Define the scientific direction and lead ML research strategy.
• Design and deploy production-ready ML models for geospatial data.
• Develop physics-informed, transparent AI models validated against observations.
• Mentor others and influence future scientific hires.
