Job summary

Allianz seeks an experienced ML Ops Engineer to design and run production data and ML services in a cloud environment. You will build containerised apps, deploy pipelines, and apply IaC with Terraform while ensuring monitoring, performance, and security of ML systems.

You will work in an agile team to deliver scalable data platforms, real-time endpoints, and feature delivery for analytics, using Python and dbt among other tools. Hybrid London-area work supported.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with containerised services (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience deploying and monitoring production endpoints/APIs.
• Automated deployment into production environments.
• Cloud infrastructure for data/predictive services (Azure preferred).
• CI/CD tooling experience (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with dbt, SQL, and data tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production data and ML services.
• Develop real-time APIs serving high request volumes.
• Build and deploy containers and orchestrate them for performance.
• Implement IaC using Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and automate workflows.
• Write production-grade Python for data pipelines and services.
• Deliver data extracts and features to support analytics and modelling.
• Collaborate in an agile team and communicate decisions clearly.
• Stay updated with cloud/data tech and improve tooling and standards.
