Job summary

Allianz UK Personal is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with MLOps expertise to design and operate cloud-based data pipelines and real-time ML services. You will deploy containerised applications, build scalable workflows, and collaborate with Azure specialists to deliver data products that drive business value.

The role is hybrid, with offices in London, Bristol or Bournemouth and an expectation to come into the office two days per month.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Data/ML/Platform Engineering with MLOps experience.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience deploying containerised apps and real-time ML services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy containerised real-time API endpoints for scalable ML products.
• Automate workflows with CI/CD processes.
• Develop processes and improve CI/CD, containerisation, monitoring, security and testing practices.
• Write high-quality Python code for production pipelines and services serving billions of requests annually.
• Deliver high-quality Data Science products to enhance MLOps.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders including Microsoft Azure experts.
• Design, build and enhance scalable data processing workflows.
• Champion Data Science and MLOps best practices across the business.
• Maintain data governance and comply with internal/external policies.
