Qualifications

• Experience with training and deploying ML/Deep Learning models.
• Strong Python programming and software engineering fundamentals.
• Deep knowledge of ML, neural networks, architectures and optimisation.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or equivalent frameworks.
• Proven ability to take ML from R&D to production.
• Experience leading ML engineers or technical projects.
• Understanding of model evaluation, performance optimisation and production ML challenges.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to a team of ML Engineers, mentoring and guiding development.
• Lead design, development, training and deployment of ML and DL models.
• Own complex ML projects from research to production deployment.
• Drive applied research and translate techniques into engineering solutions.
• Work on ML systems in edge/embedded environments with constrained resources.
• Develop and optimise models for accuracy, latency and reliability.
• Establish robust model evaluation, benchmarking and testing approaches.
• Support ML infrastructure, pipelines, experiment tracking and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with software, hardware and systems engineers to integrate ML capabilities.
