Job summary

Roche is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the AI Enablement group within the Computational Sciences Center of Excellence in the United Kingdom. You will build and own scalable AI/ML systems, data infrastructure, and applications that accelerate drug discovery and life-changing treatments.

You will collaborate with scientists, product leaders and DevOps to deliver high-impact solutions, optimize performance, and drive architectural decisions across the stack.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Deep ML expertise with statistics, theory, and algorithms.
• Strong proficiency across AI/ML frameworks, libraries and tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, own and improve scalable AI/ML systems and data infrastructure.
• Partner with scientists and product teams to translate requirements into robust architectures.
• Develop and maintain data systems for collecting, structuring and storing diverse data.
