Job summary

Databricks in London seeks a Senior Specialist Solutions Architect (ML & AI) to serve as the trusted technical ML and AI expert for customers and the Field Engineering organization. You will guide enterprise customers in architecting production‑grade ML and AI applications on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

You will deepen expertise in GenAI, ML, MLOps, and LLMOps, mentor colleagues, and help shape the AI roadmap.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands‑on DS/ML experience.
• Experience with distributed Spark based systems.
• Pre‑sales or post‑sales experience with external clients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect production‑level ML/AI workloads and MLOps lifecycles.
• Lead GenAI initiatives including RAG architectures and tool‑calling.
• Provide MVPs and deep‑dive sessions during technical sales cycles.
• Influence AI roadmap with product/engineering teams.
• Create tutorials and training materials to drive adoption.
