Job summary

Central Bedfordshire College is seeking a Senior MIS Officer for the Student Registry department at the Bedford College Group. The role focuses on FE data quality, timetabling, and compliance with funding rules, ensuring accurate data and audit readiness across the college.

You will work with curriculum teams and MIS colleagues to drive data standards and improvements, supporting decision-making and operational delivery.

• Experience working with data in a structured environment with data quality and compliance
• Strong analytical, IT, organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration with colleagues to support delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead monitoring and improvement of FE data quality, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness
• Support audit preparation and funding compliance through data validation and evidence checking
• Oversee timetables, room allocations, registers and enrolment data for efficient operations
• Analyse data trends and risks to support decision-making and curriculum planning
• Collaborate with curriculum teams and MIS colleagues to maintain data standards and best practices
