Orla Rose Associates in London is seeking an experienced Senior Middle Office Analyst (Equities) to support the full equity order lifecycle. You will oversee trade capture, settlements, and front-office platform administration, including FIX connectivity and system testing.

The role requires hands-on experience with Fidessa, strong knowledge of settlements, and a collaborative approach within a small, busy team. Office-based role with typical London trading hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer the Fidessa front-office trading platform.
• Support users across order execution, trade capture, market making, RSP, position keeping, dividends and corporate transactions.
• Administer and test inbound and outbound FIX order and RSP connectivity.
• Test Fidessa and back-office platform upgrades and enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to improve controls, processes and operational efficiency.
• Ensure trades are accurately captured with the correct taxes and levies.
• Manage trade allocations and confirmations through email, CTM and AMS.
• Investigate and resolve trade exceptions, unmatched items and settlement failures.
• Maintain counterparty and instrument static data.
• Reconcile positions and P&L between front- and back-office systems.
• Liaise directly with clients regarding unmatched and failing trades.
• Manage user access and market-data permissions across front-office systems.
• Escalate regulatory or compliance issues when required.

The Opportunity

We are working with a leading London-based brokerage looking to appoint an experienced Senior Middle Office Analyst.

This is a broad, hands‑on position supporting the firm’s Sales & Trading, Market Making and Corporate Finance teams. You will help ensure trades are captured, confirmed and settled correctly throughout the equity order lifecycle.

Alongside day‑to‑day trade support and settlements, you will take responsibility for front‑office platform administration, FIX and RSP connectivity, system testing, reconciliations and process improvements.
