Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Senior Service Delivery Manager for MIDAS, accountable for operational performance, reliability and continual improvement of the roadside technology service. The role requires collaboration across teams, suppliers and asset managers to maximise MIDAS value throughout its lifecycle.

Hybrid role with two days per week in the office, across UK offices, and some travel for team meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Operational Technology, Information Technology or related discipline.
• ITIL qualification (preferably ITIL 4 or V5).
• Significant experience managing complex, business-critical IT or OT services.

Responsibilities

• Owns operational performance of one or more roadside technology services, primarily MIDAS.
• analyzes performance and risks, directs resources for continuous service improvement.
• Works with design and procurement teams to feed lessons learned into asset lifecycle.
• Builds strong relationships with end-users, suppliers, installers, asset managers and maintainers.
• Manages contracts, monitoring, reporting and fault, event and problem management.
