The Opportunity

I am working with a truly innovative and dynamic major IT consultancy that boasts an impressive portfolio of clients across diverse markets.

As part of their expansion plans, they are looking for a Senior Lead Purview Consultant to join their team. The role involves supporting and advising clients on the implementation and enablement of Microsoft Purview, along with associated M365 and Azure Technologies, focusing on end-to-end data governance, compliance, and risk management solutions.

The Role

• Work across various clients in different industries, collaborating with internal teams.
• Lead the delivery of Microsoft Purview solutions, guiding clients through complex data governance, compliance, and risk management challenges.
• Provide strategic and technical oversight, acting as both a trusted advisor and a hands-on leader.
• Support the development of team capabilities and enhance service offerings related to Microsoft Purview.
• Audit and optimize existing deployments, and design scalable compliance architectures.
• Manage daily activities of a team comprising Senior Consultants, Consultants, and Junior Consultants.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement Microsoft Purview technologies for data classification, protection, retention, and compliance across Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Design and deploy Purview features such as eDiscovery, Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Communication Compliance, and Information Barriers.
• Advise on best practices for Insider Risk Management and regulatory compliance using Purview's tools.
• Support integration of Purview with Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Assess and review customer cloud security posture across multiple solutions.
• Coordinate with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure security strategies align with business goals.

The Person

• Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Purview solutions in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Deep understanding of Purview features including Information Protection, eDiscovery & Communication Compliance, Data Lifecycle and Records Management.
• Ability to communicate findings and recommendations effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Passion for problem-solving, teamwork, and innovative solution creation.
• Broad knowledge of Microsoft Security products such as Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Eligible or holding SC Clearance due to project sensitivities.
