Job summary

SystemLabs is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Jersey to design, implement, and manage robust Microsoft‑based infrastructure. You will work on Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and 365, while guiding a team and coordinating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include monitoring, security, CSP compliance, DR planning, and mentoring. On‑site role in St Helier with a focus on scalable, secure solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT field.
• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering in a Microsoft‑centric environment.
• Expert knowledge of Azure (AZ‑104, AZ‑305 preferred).
• Windows Server and Active Directory (including GPO, DNS, hybrid setups).
• Microsoft 365 services and administration.
• Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls) and Azure Networking.
• Experience with endpoint management tools like Microsoft Intune.
• Experience implementing ISO 27001/NIST security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable Microsoft‑centric infrastructure solutions.
• Serve as escalation point for complex incidents and requests.
• Administer Windows Server environments and Active Directory (on‑prem and Azure AD).
• Architect, deploy, and manage Azure cloud services; optimize spend and performance.
• Oversee Microsoft 365 services, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive.
• Ensure CSP compliance and align with licensing and operational procedures.
• Implement security policies and ensure regulatory compliance across infrastructure.
• Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure with tools like Azure Monitor and System Center.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members and participate in planning.
