Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking an ICT Senior Officer (Microsoft 365) on a fixed term until 30/09/2028 to join the Microsoft 365 specialists’ team at Waverley Court. The role focuses on configuring, administering and developing Microsoft 365 and related cloud platforms to a high standard, aligned with information governance and security requirements.

You will work with SharePoint, Teams, Intune and Power Platform, support data migration, and ensure compliant data protection in the wider

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience supporting data migration in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint/Teams).
• Knowledge of Azure resources and Entra ID preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer and manage Microsoft 365 and related cloud platforms.
• Support data migration and manage content within Microsoft 365.
• Collaborate with security and governance specialists to ensure compliance.
