Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking an ICT Lead (Microsoft 365) on a fixed-term basis until 30/09/2028. The role involves ensuring our Microsoft 365 tenants and digital offerings meet high standards and compliance while aligning with information governance and security requirements.

You will lead Microsoft 365 configuration, administration and ongoing management, with emphasis on SharePoint, Teams, Intune and Power Platform. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Experience leading Microsoft 365 data migration projects (SharePoint/Teams advantageous).
• Experience with Azure, Entra ID and other Azure resources across the Microsoft cloud environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer and manage Microsoft 365 and related cloud platforms.
• Support data migration and manage content in Microsoft 365.
• Provide guidance to first-line teams and assist with task resolution.
