Job summary

City of Edinburgh Council in Edinburgh is seeking an ICT Lead (Microsoft 365) to manage tenancy configuration and administration at Waverley Court. The fixed-term role runs to 30/09/2028 with a salary range that reflects its grade.

The successful candidate will oversee Microsoft 365 and related cloud platforms, lead data migration projects, and ensure governance, security and compliance across the Microsoft cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Microsoft 365 data migration projects (SharePoint/Teams advantageous)
• Experience with Azure resources across the Microsoft cloud environment (Azure, Entra ID)
• Strong communication and organisational skills, able to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to present and build collaborative relationships

Responsibilities

• Lead the Microsoft 365 tenancy configuration, administration and ongoing management
• Coordinate data migrations and manage content in Microsoft 365
• Support first-line teams with guidance, knowledge sharing and issue resolution
• Collaborate with security/governance specialists to ensure data protection and compliance
