Job summary

Spirax Group is seeking a Senior Metrology and Surveillance Engineer in Falmouth, Cornwall. The role focuses on leading surveillance testing, developing metrology methods, and owning MSA to ensure robust measurement processes.

You will design CMM programs, create test protocols, and work with R&D, Manufacturing and Quality teams to meet regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant experience in metrology, dimensional inspection, or measurement systems engineering.
• Proven ability in CMM programming (e.g. PC-DMIS, Calypso or similar).
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 within regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience developing technical procedures, inspection plans, and test protocols.
• Expertise in statistical analysis, MSA, and capability studies.
• Experience working with pumps, tubing, or fluid-handling systems.
