Job summary

GE Aerospace in Cheltenham seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the site MES rollout as part of a global upgrade. You will drive planning, design, build, test, deployment and stabilisation, coordinating with IT, operations and engineering to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with minimal production impact.

Ideal candidates have proven MES/ERP project experience in live manufacturing, strong risk management, supplier governance and cross-functional leadership in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, IT, business or related field.
• Extensive PM experience delivering complex digital or manufacturing projects.
• Experience implementing MES/ERP or similar shop-floor systems in live environments.
• Proven ability to manage schedule, budget and scope with measurable results.
• Strong risk/issue management and supplier contract experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle MES project from planning through stabilisation at the Cheltenham site.
• Develop and maintain integrated site schedules covering design, config, infra, data readiness, testing and training.
• Drive stage-gate reviews with stakeholders and document decisions, scope and priorities.
• Manage baseline, progress forecasting and integration with global programme.
• Oversee risk, cost control, supplier performance and governance sessions.
• Coordinate change management, user engagement, demos and training for a stable cutover.
