Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Engineering Manager to lead an MEP package on a major UK rail programme (HS2). With responsibility for design coordination, technical assurance and interfaces, you will drive delivery from design through installation on site at Rickmansworth/West London.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive rail MEP experience, and proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and contractors to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership in Senior Project Engineer or Engineering Manager roles.
• Strong MEP experience across mechanical, electrical, and public health systems.
• Experience coordinating complex designs and interfaces in a rail project.
• Solid technical assurance and engineering management experience.
• Familiarity with NEC contracts is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership across the MEP package on site.
• Coordinate complex designs and interface management with rail systems.
• Liaise with designers, contractors and technical specialists to ensure delivery.
• Oversee design reviews, testing and commissioning preparations.
