Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced MEP Project Engineer to join the team delivering a major HS2 infrastructure programme in the UK. The role requires overseeing installation, testing and commissioning of complex MEP systems with strong site presence on a large rail project.

Qualifications

• Strong MEP engineering experience across mechanical, electrical, public health or related building services.
• Proven track record delivering complex MEP installation, testing and commissioning.
• Experience on rail projects or rail environments.
• Construction and design assurance experience.
• Understanding of technical assurance and managing issues during construction.
• Confidence working with contractors, designers and technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with NEC Supervisor roles and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong site presence and ensure MEP works are installed, tested and commissioned per approved design.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineering teams and specialists to resolve technical and interface issues.
• Provide assurance throughout construction and support interface management with project stakeholders.
