Job summary

3D Personnel is seeking a Senior QS - MEP for Blyth, Northumberland. You will drive financial and contractual performance across the MEP packages on a landmark technology project, ensuring delivery on budget and programme.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying, 7+ years' QS experience with CSA, and proficiency in CostX. You will lead procurement, produce reports, manage risk, and mentor junior staff within a dynamic commercial team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
7+ years' QS experience with CSA focus
Proficiency in CostX or similar cost management software
Strong understanding of contracts, procurement strategy, and cost planning
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder relationship ability

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cost management plans for MEP packages to keep delivery on budget and programme
Lead procurement and negotiation of MEP subcontractor packages
Produce detailed financial reports and forecasts for key decision-making
Monitor project risk and implement mitigation to minimise discrepancies
Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve contractual and financial issues
Streamline valuations and variations processes for timely approvals and payments
Mentor and support junior QS staff for team growth
