About Mane

Mane is connecting the right people with the right projects. We are hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor for projects in pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial, food, commercial, and retail industries.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Liaise and report to the Project Director and Contracts Manager.
2. Coordinate with the team to meet project requirements and specifications.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with client representatives.
4. Attend site meetings, communicate project updates, and resolve issues.
5. Review tender enquiries and conduct analysis.
6. Estimate and tender for projects with the Head Office team.
7. Negotiate project terms and fixed-price agreements.
8. Organize pre-award meetings with subcontractors.
9. Manage subcontract purchasing and on-site packages.
10. Track contra charges and notify subcontractors.
11. Handle subcontractor payments, variations, and final accounts.
12. Process payment certificates and compile variation logs.
13. Prepare final accounts and monitor costs using construction software.
14. Forecast cash flow and prepare monthly reports.
15. Stay informed on industry changes.
16. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
17. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical contracting, with proven skills in valuations, variations, and cost reporting.
2. Strong knowledge of specifications, bills of quantities, and drawings.
3. Ability to extract quantities and obtain quotations within deadlines.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QS software.
5. Experience in commercial and industrial projects.
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
7. Self-motivated and team-oriented.
