About the Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor – Hybrid
Joining their Southeast-based team, you’ll take on the role of a Senior Quantity Surveyor. Reporting to the Group Managing Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for managing & overseeing our client’s commercial function.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the commercial function, supporting and mentoring both commercial and operational teams.
· Oversee project forecasting, including margins, revenue, and cost-to-complete.
· Manage risk and cost control across all project phases.
· Handle subcontractor management, from procurement to final accounts.
· Own the payment process, including applications, invoicing, and client queries.
· Maintain strong client relationships and ensure commercial best practice is upheld.
· Occasional travel to sites, to meet with clients, stakeholders & subcontractors.
Requirements
· Experience as a Quantity Surveyor up to Senior level.
· Experience must be from within the following sectors: Construction (excluding civils), M&E, Data Centres or Fire Suppression & Security.
· Quantity Surveying related degree, RICS or HNC/HND Level Qualification.
· Great communication & negotiation skills.
· Strong time management & organizational skills.
· Full right to work in the UK.
· Happy with occasional travel.
Package:
· Salary: £60,000 – £73,000 per annum (DOE)
· Hybrid role (2 days per week)
