EDF is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the EDG commissioning strategy for the Hinkley Point C project. Reporting to the Project Director, you will drive readiness from construction completion to operation, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring safety and regulatory alignment.

You will define planning, manage schedules, supervise testing, oversee handover, and act as the primary interface with engineering, construction, quality and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• 15+ years of commissioning management on large industrial projects.
• Experience in nuclear, power generation or highly regulated industries.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary commissioning teams.
• Strong interface management between engineering, construction and operations.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Define commissioning strategy and execution plan.
• Manage commissioning teams throughout preparation, testing and handover phases.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with engineering, construction, quality and client stakeholders.
• Ensure readiness of systems, documentation and resources for commissioning activities.
• Manage commissioning schedules, priorities and interfaces across multiple workstreams.
• Supervise system and integrated testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear, regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Drive resolution of technical issues, punch-list items and non-conformities.
• Oversee performance testing and final acceptance processes.
• Support the client through handover and operational readiness activities.
