Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an MEP Design Team Lead to join Kier Design in Liverpool or London. You will lead a skilled Building Services design team delivering mechanical, electrical and plumbing solutions for major construction projects.

As the central technical lead, you will drive innovation, ensure quality and sustainability, develop client relationships, and support business development and fee proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a multi-discipline design team in building services.
• Ability to apply quality procedures and document control in engineering design.
• Eligible to meet BPSS security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MEP design team on large-scale projects, ensuring coordinated solutions.
• Drive technical excellence, manage design delivery and discipline integration.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to bids and fee responses.
• Mentor team members, promote safety, quality, and sustainable design delivery.
