Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking an experienced Interim Senior MEP Planner to join a leading Tier 1 MEP contractor in the North West. The role involves developing, managing and updating detailed MEP programmes across multiple healthcare projects, with a hybrid pattern requiring 2 days per week in the Manchester office.

You will work with Project Managers and engineering teams to monitor progress, identify risks and provide senior stakeholder updates. ASTA Powerproject experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Planner / Senior Planner in an MEP environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical construction knowledge.
• Experience working for a Tier 1 MEP contractor is preferred.
• ASTA Powerproject experience is essential.
• Experience managing programmes across multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP sequencing and construction delivery.
• Healthcare project experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and update detailed MEP programmes across multiple projects.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Commercial and Engineering teams to monitor progress.
• Identify programme risks, delays and opportunities for recovery.
• Provide accurate reporting and programme updates to senior stakeholders.
• Support project teams with planning, sequencing and programme strategy.
• Potentially provide support and guidance to other planners, although direct line management is not essential.
• Work closely with the Regional Planning Manager for the North West.
