Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an experienced MEP Senior Planner to join its Mechanical and Electrical team in Leeds/Northern Region. This role leads MEP planning on major projects, mentors junior staff, and collaborates with stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes across a demanding project portfolio.

You will develop and manage detailed MEP programmes using Asta PowerProject, align planning with NEC and JCT contracts, and present strategies to leadership and clients, driving excellence in planning

Qualifications

Advanced MEP planning using Asta PowerProject from design through handover.
Experience delivering NEC/JCT contract-aligned planning.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Lead MEP planning on major projects and mentor assistant and intermediate planners.
Develop and manage detailed MEP programmes using Asta PowerProject across all project stages.
Manage programme updates, forensic analysis, and lead EOT evaluations and delay assessments.
Collaborate with commercial teams to align planning outputs with NEC/JCT contracts.
Present programme strategies to leadership, project teams, and clients.
