Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Estimator for a London-based role with a strong order book through 2029. You will prepare detailed estimates for major MEP projects, review drawings and tender documentation, and liaise with clients and subcontractors to deliver competitive bids.

The role offers a clear progression path toward Estimating Manager, with high-profile projects across the UK and Europe and a generous bonus potential along with a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven estimating experience in mechanical or electrical building services.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ambition to progress into management and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and commercially competitive mechanical or electrical estimates.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes and tender documentation.
• Produce accurate pricing and tender submissions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Work with pre-construction, commercial, design and project teams.
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities and value-engineering solutions.
• Manage multiple tenders through to submission.
• Contribute to development of estimating processes and best practice.
• Progress toward Estimating Manager.
