Job summary

SRVO is seeking a Senior Engineer (MEP) to lead mechanical design and technical assurance across a diverse portfolio of building services. You will set standards, review designs, and mentor junior engineers within a growing team in a hybrid London environment.

You will collaborate with electrical and public health disciplines, ensure compliance with building regulations, and deliver energy-efficient, maintainable MEP solutions for residential and commercial works.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering mechanical design and technical assurance within multi-disciplinary MEP projects.
• Experience across residential and commercial buildings, refurbishment and occupied premises.

Responsibilities

• Lead surveys, assessments and feasibility studies across occupied buildings.
• Develop designs, specifications and schedules, review contractor designs and submittals.
• Prepare technical reports, costed options and lifecycle recommendations for client decision-making.
• Coordinate with electrical and public health engineers for integrated MEP solutions.
• Oversee site works, witness testing and commissioning, and close out snagging with documentation.
• Support bid responses and programme planning for new and existing clients.
