Job summary

You will lead a team to deliver high-quality, recovery-focused support, mentor peers and guide residents on their path to independent living, while ensuring safe, respectful, inclusive care.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with mental health needs.
• Strong understanding of recovery-focused, person-centred practice.
• Experience supporting assessments, referrals or risk management processes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate shifts to ensure high-quality support.
• Support residents through their recovery journey using a person-centred approach.
• Manage medication processes and ensure safe working practices.
• Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to Support Workers.
• Assist with assessments, support planning and risk management.
• Respond to incidents, safeguarding concerns and complaints as required.
• Promote a positive culture of respect, collaboration and inclusion.
• Support residents with budgeting, cooking, travel and tenancy management.
• Encourage access to employment, training, education and community opportunities.
• Champion trauma-informed and recovery-focused practice.
