We are very excited to be able to offer a suitably qualified Mental Health Professional Band 6 post within our established multi-disciplinary Assertive Outreach Team in Gloucester and Forest of Dean
The successful applicant will gain valuable Mental Health experience within well respected and successful services and work in both urban and rural parts of the Forest of Dean. We are looking or a motivated individual with experience of working in a mental health services.
As the ideal candidate for this post you would be an experienced and highly competent mental health practitioner looking for a new challenge and seeking an opportunity to make a real difference to people’s lives. We’re looking for candidates with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping those experiencing a mental health
You will have the ability to build relationships with key partner agencies and help us to integrate more effectively with other services, as well as thriving on working in a high-pressure situation. This service will also give you the opportunity to work with specialists from a number of different professions.
We are seeking a motivated and innovative individual with a strong interest and passion in working with adults with serious mental illness to join these friendly, progressive and dynamic multi-disciplinary teams providing comprehensive mental and social care. We can offer an opportunity to develop your skills and experience and to contribute to the development of a high quality service.
You will hold a registered mental health qualification and be able to demonstrate post registration experience at Band 5 or above. You will need to provide evidence of continual professional development.
The teams provide a 7 day service, 9-5 Mondays to Fridays and 9-1 on weekends
