The Rosa Burden Centre is a 12-bed inpatient neuropsychiatric unit, offering a multidisciplinary inpatient program. Our team includes Neuropsychiatric and Neurology doctors, Registered Nurses (RGN), Mental Health Nurses (RMN), Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD), Health Care Assistants (HCA), Cognitive Behaviour Therapists (CBT), Occupational Therapists (OT), and Physiotherapists (PT).

We care for patients with complex conditions such as epilepsy, NEAD, FND, mental health illnesses (anxiety, depression, PTSD), sleep disorders, and Parkinson's Disease. We also occasionally admit pre- and post-operative patients from various settings.

Opportunities Available
  • Experienced RMN/RNLD Nurses with current NMC Registration

Note: This role is for Maternity Leave Cover, starting July 22nd, 2024, until March 31st, 2025.

Main Duties
  • Deliver high standards of evidence-based nursing care.
  • Provide direct patient care independently, following established policies.
  • Promote health education and support, referring to professionals as needed.
  • Assist in discharge planning in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Treat all patients with courtesy, respect, and confidentiality.
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Participate in delivering therapy sessions.
