Job summary

Samaritans is seeking a Senior Impact and Evaluation Lead to drive the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) framework for Listening Services, including the helpline and online chat. You will design, implement and refine methods to generate evidence supporting service design, improvement and policy work.

You will engage across the organisation to embed a culture of continuous learning, test new measures and manage external research partners to strengthen the organisation's impact for those

Qualifications

• Experience designing organisational measurement frameworks.
• Experience evaluating complex services or programmes.
• Experience reviewing and improving data collection approaches.
• Excellent qualitative and quantitative research and analysis.
• Ability to translate research into practical recommendations.
• Strong project management and collaborative skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of MEL framework.
• Facilitate workshops to test and refine the framework.
• Develop and monitor implementation plan for MEL.
• Establish processes for reviewing data and evidence.
• Commission and manage external research and data collection.
• Manage relationships with external suppliers and partners.
