Job summary

Galliford Try Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Supervisor to lead a team delivering MEICA-focused mechanical installations across the Southern Water framework. You will manage resources, ensure safety, quality, and commissioning readiness while coordinating with Project Managers and the MEICA/Commissioning teams.

You will oversee site activities from installation to takeover, champion a Right First Time approach, and mentor junior staff to build a capable on-site team in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Solid experience within the water industry.
• Proven experience managing and delivering mechanical installation works on site.
• Experience working directly with clients and resolving issues that may affect project delivery.
• A track record of delivering mechanical installations through to successful commissioning and project takeover.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Mechanical Supervisors, ensuring safe and high-quality delivery.
• Oversee MEICA requirements and commissioning interfaces with existing equipment and processes.
• Coordinate mechanical resources across projects and programs with regional leads.
• Support design team in mechanical specifications and supervise subcontractors to ensure H&S and quality.
• Promote Right First Time delivery and ensure documentation and RAMS are maintained.
