Job summary

Galliford Try Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Supervisor to lead MEICA delivery across the Southern Water framework from Chichester with travel. You will command a team of Mechanical Supervisors and oversee electrical installation activities, ensuring safe, quality outcomes and timely handover across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Solid experience within the water industry.
• Proven experience managing and delivering mechanical installation works on site.
• Experience working directly with clients and resolving issues that may affect project delivery.
• A track record of delivering mechanical installations through to successful commissioning and project takeover.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental practices.
• Good understanding of water industry processes and operations.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment used within the water sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including report preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the mechanical delivery of the assigned project portfolio.
• Ensuring a full appreciation of the MEICA requirements of the project including commissioning interfaces.
• Coordinate sufficient competent mechanical resources for projects, working with regional leads.
• Line management of mechanical resources within the portfolio and staff development.
• Support operation and maintenance activities until plant takeover.
• Maintain the snagging list and progress completion of snags.
• Promote a 'Right First Time' delivery approach and ensure safety and quality standards.
