Job summary

BaxterStorey in London is seeking a Meetings & Events Manager to lead a team across two busy locations, delivering a wide range of meetings, conferences, hospitality events and client functions.

You will work closely with clients, chefs, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure every event is delivered to a high standard and meets the client brief, budget and expectations from enquiry through to event delivery and post-event review.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and delivering corporate meetings and events in hospitality or venues.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events.
• Confidence working with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts and event costs.
• Solution-focused approach, calm under pressure.
• Good commercial awareness and focus on service and financial results.
• Passion for creating great customer experiences and improving them.
• Understanding of sustainability in event delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of five across two London locations delivering meetings and events.
• Oversee planning and delivery of conferences, hospitality events and client functions.
• Collaborate with clients, chefs, suppliers and stakeholders to meet briefs and budgets.
• Own the process from initial enquiry to event delivery and post-event review.
• Balance multiple priorities and drive customer experience and commercial performance.
