Job summary

The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Pharmacist Lead to head the Medicines Optimisation Support Hub, providing clinical oversight of central medicines optimisation projects, reviews and MHRA alert management.

The role is split between the hub and general practice, with at least one day a week in practices, and includes line management of the MOSH Operational Manager; independent prescribing with GPhC registration is required, with a focus on procedures, training and

Qualifications

Master's degree in pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent (BPharm).
Sufficient post-qualification experience.
Mandatory registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Responsibilities

Lead development of MOSH SOPs and team training.
Provide clinical oversight and expert advice on operational development.
Oversee the smooth running of centralised clinical services under MOSH.
Lead clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Provide direct patient-facing and remote centralised medication reviews and monitoring.
Line manage the MOSH Operational Manager (AfC Band 6).
