We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a privately owned group of healthcare communications agencies, seeking an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join their team.

About the organization:

The Senior Medical Writer will be involved in:

• Producing and developing high-quality scientific content across various materials.
• Quality checking all outputs to ensure grammar, punctuation, style, and project briefs are met.
• Leading client communications, acting as a key scientific contact, providing project updates, and attending client meetings (both on-site and virtual).
• Mentoring and training junior team members, including reviewing their outputs before final sign-off.

This role focuses on Publications materials within Oncology; experience in both areas is essential.

Essential requirements include:

• At least 3 years of medical communications agency experience, including experience at the Senior Medical Writer level.
• Strong medical writing skills, with a focus on Oncology Publications.
• Mentoring and coaching skills, including reviewing and QCing others’ work.
• Experience in leading client communications and maintaining strong client relationships.
