Job summary

County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Deputy Medical Education Manager to support the Medical Education Manager in delivering high-quality medical education across the Trust. You will coordinate resident doctors' training, liaise with GMC/HEE standards and manage governance processes with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent in Medical Education, HR or Workforce and Organisational Development.
• CIPD qualification at MCIPD level.
• Project management qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist knowledge and guidance on the Resident Doctors Contract (2016) to trainees, trainers and managers.
• Work with Medical Education leadership to ensure high-quality speciality training meeting GMC/HEE standards.
• Ensure evidence and systems for robust reporting and educational governance are in place.
