Job summary

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Medical Education Co-ordinator (NHS AfC Band 5) to join our busy education team in Sleaford. The role focuses on coordinating Resident Doctor Induction, weekly postgraduate teaching, study leave and conferences, working alongside senior medical educators and NHS England.

You will line manage the Medical Education Administrator, drive accurate education records, and support strategy, meetings and reports while offering flexible, hybrid

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent knowledge / experience
• Advanced organisation skills and ability to co-ordinate and prioritise workload
• Experience of line management
• Knowledge of Trust database systems
• Experience of working in a medical education setting
• Experience of working to short deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead and co-ordinate medical education activities for resident doctors, SAS doctors and consultants.
• Manage trainee allocations, study leave, budgets and expenditure; maintain records.
• Populate training rotas and analyse feedback from induction and national surveys.
• Provide admin and project support to the Director and Associate Director of Medical Education, tutors and educators.
• Line manage the Medical Education Administrator and oversee workload.
• Support meetings, reports, newsletters and liaise with NHS England and partners.
