Job summary

Qualifications

• GMC/GDC registration and GMC Specialist Register required.
• Sustained CPD and postgraduate management qualification (MBA or equivalent).
• Substantial leadership experience in a large health system.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership and education for the medical workforce.
• Act as Caldicott Guardian and Responsible Officer for confidentiality and information sharing.
• Lead for Medical Education, Research & Development, Quality and Innovation with legal obligations met.
• Proven track record of medical leadership at director/board level and strong communication skills.
