Job summary

NTT Ltd. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Solutions Engineer to be the mechanical SME within the Global Solutions Engineering team.

The role focuses on developing scalable data center solutions for hyperscale, cloud, and enterprise customers, with a strong emphasis on high-density and liquid-cooled environments. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience in mission-critical facilities, hyperscale data centers, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the EMEA Mechanical SME and escalation point for the Global Solutions Engineering organization.
• Lead mechanical solutioning for hyperscale and AI/HPC opportunities with emphasis on liquid cooling and high-density deployments.
• Translate RFPs and design criteria into mechanical concepts aligned with standards and site constraints.
• Develop schematic design concepts and prepare detailed schematic packages for pricing and scheduling.
• Perform engineering calculations for cooling load, water flow, pressure drop, and system operating envelopes.
• Define interfaces between liquid-cooling systems and base-building infrastructure; manage temperatures and water quality requirements.
• Engage in customer workshops and technical presentations; communicate complex topics to diverse audiences.
• Identify risks and trade-offs; communicate impacts on capacity, resiliency, cost and schedule.
• Support global projects and collaborate across time zones.
