NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Senior Mechanical Solutions Engineer to act as the mechanical SME within Global Solutions Engineering. The role translates hyperscale and neocloud requirements into practical, scalable data center mechanical solutions, with emphasis on high-density and liquid-cooled deployments.

Based in the UK, Germany or the Netherlands, you will develop concepts through ~30% schematic design and support pricing, NRCs, and construction.

• Support pre-sales lifecycle and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the EMEA Mechanical SME and escalation point for the Global Solutions Engineering organization.
• Lead mechanical solutioning for hyperscale, AI/HPC, and enterprise opportunities with emphasis on liquid cooling and high-density deployments.
• Translate customer RFPs, SOQs, and design criteria into mechanical concepts aligned with standards and site constraints.
• Develop schematic design concepts to support pricing, NRCs, and delivery risk assessments.
• Prepare detailed schematic packages for Construction/Preconstruction teams to establish pricing and schedules.
• Perform engineering calculations: cooling load, flow, pump head, pipe sizing, and operating envelopes.
• Define interfaces between liquid-cooling and base-building infrastructure, including water quality and controls.
• Participate in customer workshops, tech deep-dives, and site visits.
