Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Senior Mechanical Solutions Engineer to provide mechanical SME depth within Global Solutions Engineering, primarily in EMEA and supporting multiple regions. You will translate customer requirements into practical, scalable, and commercially viable data center mechanical solutions, focusing on high-density and liquid-cooled deployments.

This role reports to the Global Solutions Engineering team and supports pre‑sales activities worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field.
• Experience in mission‑critical facilities or hyperscale data centers is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical solutioning for hyperscale, AI/HPC and enterprise opportunities with emphasis on liquid cooling and high-density deployments.
• Develop mechanical concepts to ~30% schematic design and prepare drawings, calculations, and scope for price and construction teams.
• Engage in customer workshops, RFP clarifications, and executive/technical presentations.
• Ensure interfaces between customer liquid cooling and base-building infrastructure, including controls and water quality.
