Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Site Manager for a commercial project in Leeds. The role requires strong experience in managing mechanical works safely and efficiently on site.

You will coordinate subcontractors, read drawings and specifications, and ensure works meet deadlines, quality standards, and health & safety requirements. CSCS card and SSSTS are essential, with start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on commercial projects.
• CSCS card - essential.
• SSSTS minimum - essential.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Good understanding of health & safety and construction procedures.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise mechanical works on site from installation through to completion.
• Coordinate mechanical subcontractors and site teams.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Management and other trades.
• Monitor progress and report any issues or delays.
• Ensure RAMS and site procedures are followed.
• Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Coordinate deliveries, materials and plant.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety on site.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Assist with commissioning, snagging and project handover.
