Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Simulation Engineer for a fully remote role based in South Africa. You will conduct advanced FEA and CFD simulations to optimize product performance, durability and safety, translating results into actionable design guidance.

Ideal candidates have a PhD or Master's in Mechanical/Aerospace with simulation focus and 8+ years of experience, plus proficiency in ANSYS/Abaqus/STAR-CCM+.

Qualifikationen

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field with specialization in simulation and analysis.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in mechanical simulation using FEA/CFD tools.
• Proven ability to develop, run, and interpret complex simulations with ANSYS/Abaqus/STAR-CCM+.

Aufgaben

• Perform advanced FEA and CFD simulations to analyze product behavior (stress, thermal, dynamic, fluid flow).
• Develop and validate complex simulation models with test data correlation.
• Interpret results and provide concise technical reports with design recommendations.
