Enhanced M&E Ltd, a long-established building services contractor, is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to lead tendering for commercial projects up to £2m. The role supports growth, including VRF/VRV packages, and involves collaboration with commercial and operational teams.

Based in Wickford with hybrid working available, the position offers progression opportunities within a growing business and requires a strong technical and commercial mindset, plus UK M&E experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the UK M&E sector
• Experience working on commercial building services projects
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, ideally including VRF/VRV
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong technical and commercial understanding

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for commercial projects up to £2m
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Carry out take-offs and pricing from first principles
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
• Support pricing of VRF and VRV systems as part of growth strategy
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
• Assist with tender adjudications and project handovers
