Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator in Thame. This hybrid, office-based role involves preparing estimates for design-and-build mechanical packages, reviewing drawings, and building competitive tender prices for diverse projects from residential to commercial schemes.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of mechanical building services, with experience in new-build construction and the ability to interpret technical tender information while coordinating

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Estimator.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services.
• Experience with new-build construction projects preferred.
• Commercial building services experience also considered.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender information.

Responsibilities

• Preparing estimates for design-and-build mechanical packages.
• Completing material and labour take-offs.
• Obtaining quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attending tender meetings and site visits.
• Supporting and overseeing another estimator within the team.
