Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Senior Mechanical Estimator for a hybrid, office-based role in Thame. You will prepare estimates for design-and-build mechanical packages, perform take-offs, and coordinate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors while liaising with clients and consultants.

The position offers £55,000-£75,000 base, annual bonus, 23 days holiday, bank holidays and a company pension. Senior ownership of projects and cross-team collaboration are key advantages.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical building services estimating.
• Strong ability to read drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience with new-build construction projects preferred.
• Commercial building services experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates for design-and-build mechanical packages.
• Complete material and labour take-offs.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend tender meetings and site visits.
• Support and oversee another estimator within the team.
